Logo created for CrayonClan.com , a website that collects works of art from a group of young creative people, which we are happily a part of, as we believe the future of this planet lies in collaboration, not competition.

The logo itself is created from a modular and minimalistic custom type to prevent the association with any specific visual style or movement, since the collective features many different individual styles as well as mediums used by the artists such as: photography, paintings, animations, digital illustrations, etc.
The colors represent that diversity of personalities as well as an analogy for a box of crayons, but are not intended to be the sole colors or logo application for that matter, as you can see here:

This is a proposed identity for the multimedia studio recLab in Guayaquil.

We wanted the logo to reflect the aesthetics of a medical facility, instead of the obvious choice of going with elements pertaining to audio or video recording , as there are a large array of 'reclabs' around the world which probably look very much alike.

The spacing of the letters was intended to make the characters appear to be independent (almost random) when looked at closely, but from a distance they would form the words clearly.

Is an art exhibition organized by Zona de Eventos that took place in Casa de América in Madrid from the 22nd of Septembe to the 25th of October of 2009. The artworks showcased were album covers from Latin America, all throughout its history. A total of 519 were displayed and selected from more than 9000 different album covers. Among those 519, that include album covers from classic bands like Almendra; and contemporary ones like Café Tacvba, Babasónicos, etc. was Mantarraya's which was designed by us.
